A young but growing family from the Warren area found their dream property in a coveted Hudson neighborhood—but the house they purchased came with plenty of challenges.
Not only was it in dire need of a full update, but it was also awkwardly sited, with its side and rear elevations facing the street. This unique condition became the driving force behind a complete Craftsman-style conversion.

By extending existing rooflines with expressive timbers and brackets, and adding new front and rear porches, the design reoriented the home to embrace both its setting and outdoor living. From overgrown and understated to bold and timeless, this transformation turned a simple structure into a modern Craftsman, featuring shingle siding, stone accents, brackets, and tapered columns. Clean lines, expanded windows, and thoughtful landscaping now give the home warmth, character, and lasting curb appeal.
