Purchased in 2021, by returning homeowners with a passion for restoration, the house underwent a complete transformation. The vision was clear – preserve the home’s historic character, while creating modern spaces fit for contemporary living.

Original features such as the windows, fireplaces, doors, and intricate molding were carefully restored. Conversely, ceilings were raised nearly two feet throughout, flooding the interior with light and volume. The renovation introduced a chef’s kitchen and sunroom at the heart of the home, blending old-world craftsmanship with elegant modern design. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathrooms were reconfigured to suit today’s lifestyle, while the basement revealed 160-year-old stone walls that honor the home’s origins. Consistent with the care and attention extended to these renovations, interior design components and finishes echo the home’s 19th-century soul.
